Bachata is a romantic, sensual social dance and music genre originating from the Dominican Republic in the 1960s, characterized by a 4/4 time signature, close partner connection, and rhythmic hip movements. It is known for its relatively simple 8-beat footwork structure three steps followed by a hip-tap and is now a popular worldwide dance style.

Learn the basics of bachata in many styles including Urban, Traditional and Sensual.

4PM - Intermediate Salsa (on1)

Combine basic concepts to create semi-complex patterns. Learn shines including syncopations. Lead/Follow + styling.

5PM - Intermediate Bachata

Combine basic concepts to create semi-complex patterns in multiple styles. Learn footwork including syncopations. Lead/follow + styling.

6:30PM - Advanced Bachata

Bachata Master Class Concepts include double turns, styling and complex partner work.

7:30PM - Advanced Salsa

Advanced Salsa Class Leads/Follows welcome. Master Class Concepts include double turns, styling and complex partner work.

7:30PM - Kizomba

Kizomba is a popular, sensual partner dance and music genre that originated in Angola in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Meaning "party" in Kimbundu, it is characterized by close, grounded connection, slow, fluid movements, and intricate legwork, heavily influenced by Semba and Caribbean Zouk.

8:30PM - Nightclub 2 Step

Nightclub Two Step (NC2S) is a popular, romantic partner dance developed in the mid-1960s by Buddy Schwimmer. It is specifically designed for slow to mid-tempo pop ballads and features a "quick-quick-slow" rhythm, characterized by a sway, rock step, and glide motion. It is ideal for crowded dance floors and weddings.
